Mikheil Saakashvili will open Sataplia reserve today

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili will open renewed Sataplia Nature Reserve in Kutaisi today.

As it is known, 700 thousand GELs were spent from the state budget for upgrading infrastructure of the reserve.

Within the project, construction of the Sataplia preservation central entrance, visitors’ center, dinosaur trace conservation facilities, the cave walking path and the exhibition hall was carried out.

Also, walking paths and picnic areas were made in the Kolkian woods.

According to the agreement of Ministry of Environment Protection and the company BP, the company allocated $ 3.5 million grant for implementation of the Sataplia State Reservation infrastructure project.
