Hillary Clinton breaks a record among the Secretaries of State.
Since becoming
secretary of state in 2009, Clinton has logged 351 days on the road, traveled
to 102 countries and flown a whopping 843,839 miles, according to the State
Department. She passed 1 357 414 km
totally, which equals to the 10-times way around the earth.
Recently, Clinton has repeatedly said that the position of the
Secretary of State takes much time and energy from her, that is why after
November Presidential elections, she is going to rest, - Itar-tass
reported.
Clinton broke
that record last month, eclipsing Madeleine Albright’s total of 98 countries.
She was the first woman Secretary of State, who was serving on this post
1997-2001.
