Spec-operation of MIA of Georgia is still underway at Georgian-Russian border

Spec-operation of Internal Affairs Ministry of Georgia near the Russian-Georgian border is still in progress. “” was informed about it by the head of Internal Affairs Ministry press-office, Salome Makharadze. 
She said, information about process of spec-operation is operatively spread on the official web-page of Internal Affairs Ministry.  
“According to the last information, while conducting the persecution operation3 officers of the Special Force group were killed and 5 officers were wounded.
Concerning 11 members of the armed subversives, they are surrounded. Measures are assumed to detain them”, - Makharadze said. According to the information of the press-service, the state will cover the expenses of funerals of the killed Ministry employees.
