The new U.S. ambassador to Georgia is already in Tbilisi

A few hours ago, the new U.S. ambassador to Georgia – Richard Norland arrived in Georgia together with his wife. He will be hosted by the Foreign Ministry today.

Norland, who is in diplomatic service for 32 years, is the seventh ambassador in the two countries’ relations 20-years history.

We will recall you that Richard Norland was officially appointed as the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia on July 27. He replaced John Bass on this position.
