The Internal Affairs Ministry of Georgia spreads a statement regarding the arrest of the leader of the “Resistance movement” Ioseb Manjavidze.

According to the information of the Interior Ministry, the officers of Old Tbilisi Police Division have arrested Teimuraz Kenchadze too, together with Manjavidze.

“The above mentioned individuals were detained during the protest rally held on Rustaveli Avenue for disorderly conduct (hooliganizm), the crime envisaged by Administrative Violations Code of Georgia article 166, on the basis of which Ioseb Manjavidze and Teimuraz Kentchadze were fined according to the Civil Court’s decision,” – is said in the statement of Interior Ministry. 

For information, the City Court imposed a fine of 100 GEL to Manjavidze.
