Vano Merabishvili met with the U.S. interagency delegation
According to the
information of the government administration, today in Georgian government
Chancellery, Georgian Prime-Minister Vano Merabishvili has met the U.S.
interagency delegation headed by the democracy, human rights and labor issues
U.S Deputy Secretary Assistant of State Thomas Melia.
The meeting was also attended by the U.S. new
Ambassador to Georgia Richard Norland.
On the meeting the sides focused on continuation
of U.S. – Georgia
cooperation. The two parties discussed the situation existed in Georgia.
Prime-Minister briefed the delegation on the pre-election environment and the
government’s future plans.
