Experts discuss the statement of Russia’s new president that Vladimir Putin made in his speech delivered in the State Duma. They called “Manifesto of the Union” to that part of the speech, where Putin spoke, once again, about the topic of unification of the Post-Soviet space. In particular, Putin spoke about “integration development” of the Post-Soviet space and said that it is the main task of Russian policy and economy.

“Nothing is more important for us, than that. Our future depends on it” – Putin said.

According to him, Russia should increase its attractiveness in the eyes of neighbors; it should become a kind of “magnet, with which all want to unite”. He believes that the integration processes already has a real results and therefore, it will become and it already is a priority of our country.
