Saakashvili: we have a real change to establish free trade and visa-free regime with EU
According
to the statement of Georgian President, Mikheil Saakashvili, on the summit
scheduled for the next year the EU should clearly express readiness of Georgia’s EU
membership, which will be a very serious statement.
As the
President said during the press-conference held with the president of the
European People’s Party Vilfrid Martens, next year Georgia has a real chance to
establish free trade and visa-free regime with European Union.
Also, it
became known today, that Georgia
will be involved in the program of Erasmus, which means Georgian students will
have more opportunities to study in Europe.
“With the
document adopted today it was also revealed that European college will be
opened in Batumi,
where European diploma will be issued and European lectures will teach”, -
Saakashvili said.
