The so-called, Foreign
Affairs Ministry of Abkhazia expresses “concern” regarding the fact that the
OSCE Parliamentary Assembly supported the resolution on Georgia, where Abkhazia
and Tskhinvali regions are mentioned as occupied territories – “Apsnipres”
reports.
“The resolution is
nonobjective. The Parliamentary Assembly’s unconditional support towards the
position of Georgia stimulates provocative actions aimed at escalation of
tension in the region, which damages the Geneva talks process and makes
Georgia-Abkhazian settlement long-termed”, - the statement said.
Sokhumi argues that it is
not occupied, as its population does not feel themselves like that.
“Resolution does not
reflect reality and is based only on data of Georgian side”, - the so-called,
Foreign Ministry notes.
