Day News

Consideration of the budget amendments is underwy in the parliament. According to the statement of the member of the fraction “Christian-Democrats”, Levan Vefkhvadze, compensations offered by the government are not enough.

Vepkhvadze explained that the amounts offered by the government should be tripled.

“The money that the government is offering to the population as compensation cannot compensate even forth part of the damage they had as a result of the disaster. So, I think, the families, whose harvest was destroyed fully, should receive GEL 10 000 compensation and we should triple the amount offered for today. People need to feel a more or less relief”, - Vepkhvadze said.
