The Central Election
Commission of Georgia spreads a special statement, where it once again reminds
election subjects and members of all levels of election commissions, that in
accordance with the Election Code of Georgia, member of an election commission
is not entitled to conduct and participate in pre-election agitation.
In the statement spread
today CEC also explains that wearing T-shirts, caps or other types of
attributes with election symbols of an election subject by commission members,
and moreover, attending the commission sessions with similar attributes, is a
pre-election agitation.
Violating the mentioned
rule shall be subject to a fine of 2,000 (two thousand) GEL.
