This year, the annual meeting of the International Association of Presidents of the World Universities will be hosted by Georgia for the first time. Representatives of about 50 universities arrived in Georgia. They are to attend the two-day conference.  

It should be noted that the conference is hosted by the Caucasus University. During the meeting, memorandum between the hosting university and the leading universities of the world was signed too. Within the agreement, Georgian students will take part in the exchange programs.  

According to the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Khatia Dekanoidze, such events are necessary to deepen exchange programs of professors and students.
