Today, a public holiday “Kutaisoba” is celebrated in Kutaisi.

Traditionally, local residents dressed in Chokhas (Georgian national suit) will met passersby and will congratulate them with this holiday.

Various events will be held connected to the holiday. Parliament Speaker, David Bakradze will attend them.

This year, Kutaisi celebrates the holiday “Kutaisoba” with a new look. Rehabilitation of the drama theater historical building called after Lado Meskhishvili, is finished there, also the new stadium with thematic elements in it, has already finished new look.
