City Hall starts second stage of helping the disaster victims

The first phase of aid to victims of the disaster is completed. The City Hall managed to take them to the temporary shelters. The victims were provided with food and necessary things by the City Hall.

Today, the second phase will be started. As “” was informed by the press-service of the City Hall, on the second phase the victims will get financial aid. The “Open Society Georgia foundation” will give 500-500 GEL to all of them.    

A few days later, the third phase will begin, on which the affected families will be provided with a household appliances. 10 000 dollars for this will be transferred by the American organization “UMCOR”.

As for the natural disaster damage, according the press-service, the special groups are still counting the damage amount.

We will recall you that the flood occurred in Tbilisi on May 12, which damaged the capital city’s infrastructure and some houses. 5 people were killed.
