The working group for the introduction of visa-free regime with the EU was approved

A working group was set up for conducting dialogue for further liberalization of visa regime between Georgia and EU.

On December 1, 2011, on the 12th session of Georgia-EU regarding further liberalization of Georgian visa regime, EU made decision according to which the working group created for conducting dialogue regarding visa-free regime with the EU, will be manned with the following persons: 

Tornike Gordadze – Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia;

Nino Kalandadze – Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia;

Ekaterine Zghuladze – First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia;

Tina Burjaliani – First Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia;

Giorgi Vashadze – Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia

Tamar Beruchashvili – Main Advisor of the State Minister on European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Georgia  

Tamar Kintsurashvili – Deputy Secretary of State Security Council of Georgia;

Vakhtang Lejava - the Head of Advisors’ Group of Management and Economic Affairs of the chancellery of Georgian Government – Chief Advisor of the Prime Minister of Georgia; 

Salome Samadashvili – Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Belgium, Representative of mission of Georiga to the European Union;

Tea Akhvlediani – Director of European Integration department of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Georgia;

Giorgi Tabatadze – Director of Consular Department of the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Georgia;

Tinatin Goletiani – Director of International Legal Department of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Georgia;

The working group was ordered to work out Georgia’s position with an aim of preparing and conducting dialogue regarding the introduction of visa-free regime with the EU and to carry out the appropriate measures, coordinated to the migration issues governmental commission.
