Day News

The last trial on case of Georgians deported by Russia will be held today in Strasbourg Court.

The case is connected to the fact of mass deportation of ethnic Georgians from the Russian Federation.

Georgia requires from the European Court recognition of violation of number of European Convention Articles by Russia.

Georgian delegation hopes that the mentioned case will be resolved in favor of Georgia.

In 2006, dozens of people with an ethnic sign were exiled by the Russian Federation with a cargo plane.
