Rehabilitation of road connecting villages of Kobuleti and Khutsubani in Kobuleti Municipality is coming to the end. According to the project 3 600 meter long way is to be paved with asphalt. 80% of the works have been completed, while the remaining part will be completed by June 20. Current works have been observed by the Chairman of Ajara AR Government Levan Varshalomidze today.

In addition to the asphalt-concrete cover, a bridge, two concrete channels and two protective walls have been constructed within the project of rehabilitation. The project cost is 613 000 Gel.

„One of the most important components for rural development is a road together with gas and water. 3 thousand miles have been surfaced with asphalt and concrete throughout the region since 2004. This section of road of the village Sameba has been in a poor condition for decades. Program that includes rehabilitation of roads in villages will continue in future years as well,” – said Levan Varshalomidze.
