Zaza Chelidze, who was captured by MIA accused of bribing a police officer, mentioned Irakli Sesiashvili in his testimony.

He said that he showed hidden recordings, carried out by the former police officer Lasha Kurtanidze, to his friend Irakli Sesiashvili and was given envelope for handing to Lasha Kurtanidze. Lasha Kurtanidze said that 3 000 US dollars were put in the mentioned convert.

According to the information of Internal Affairs Ministry, Irakli Sesiashvili responded to the reported information already yesterday and expressed his readiness to answer any questions of investigation.

Sesishvili denied Chelidze’s information, however he said they really had friendly connections.

We will recall you that Internal Affairs Ministry interrogated Lasha Kurtanidze’s wife yesterday.
