“Remembrance week” continues

“Remembrance week” continues in Georgia. The event is dedicated to the soldiers fallen in the war in 2008.   

The “Remembrance week” is conducted with an initiative of the newspaper “Prime-time” and it lasts 6-12 August.  

In the frameworks of the week, a number of events are planned in different regions of Georgia.  

The main symbol of the event is red poppy, which wishers can buy in book stores. Its symbolic price is GEL 1.5. As it is known, the amount gathered from it will be spent on children of the soldiers died in the war.
