Internal Affairs Ministry: investigation has discovered foreign trace in the attempts of explosion
The Ministry of Internal affairs of Georgia continues investigation into February
13th attempted bombing, target of which was staff of Israel
embassy in Tbilisi.
As it is said in the statement spread by Internal Affairs
Ministry of Georgia, investigation has discovered clear foreign trace in the
attempt.
We will recall you that, on February 13, an explosive
device was found and immediately deactivated in the car of Roman Khachaturian,
the employee of the Embassy of Israel to Georgia. Roman Khachaturian is the
citizen of Georgia and
employed at the embassy of Israel
on the position of driver. On the same
day, an explosive, which was fixed on the car attached to the Israeli embassy
in New Delhi,
exploded. As a result of it wife of Israeli diplomat and other several people
were injured.
Israeli Prime- Minister,
Benjamin Netanyahu has accused Iran
of explosion in New Delhi and attempt of attack
in Tbilisi. Iran denied the accusations of Israel and called them - part of “psychological
warfare” against Tehran.
