Border police investigative-operations main department officers have arrested in Tbilisi citizens of Bangladesh for illegal detention with a purpose of extorting money. 

Detainees have illegally deferred citizen of Bangladesh Mohammed Rahman on April 3, 2012 asking for ransom (5 000 U.S. dollars) to his family.  

The incident is to be investigated under the Criminal Code, Article 143, II part, paragraph “c” and “e” and Article 181, II part, paragraph “a”.
