Contract between Shengelia and “Nets” was officially signed

“Toko played very well during the summer league and it made us decide to sign contract with him” – said the “Brooklyn Nets” General Manager Billy King after the official ceremony of signing the contract with Tornike Shengelia. 

The club decided to keep confidential the detailes of the contract with the Georgain team forward, however according to information of the “Netsdaily”, 20-years-old Shengelia will receive at least 500 thousand dollars a year as a salary from the New Yorkers.   

In addition, “Nets” should pay compensation amounted to 300 thousand dollars to the Belgian “Sharlerua”, as the Georgian player is connected to this club with a contract until 2013.
